Minor Injuries Result of Accident Saturday Posted 19 August 2008 On Saturday, Aug. 17, shortly after 7 p.m., the Fayette County Sheriff's Office was summoned to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Filmore and Cedar Road.   Investigating officials determined that Austin William Zellmer, age 22 of Postville, was driving a 1994 Ford Explorer south on Cedar Road. Zellmer stopped and then proceeded through the intersection when he struck an east bound 2000 Ford pick-up truck driven by Jerry James Rochford, age 37 of Guttenberg.   Olivito Torres, age 20 of Postville, was a passenger in the Zellmer vehicle and was treated for minor injuries at the scene; both vehicles were considered total loss.   Zellmer was charged with Failure to Provide Security and Failure to Yield Upon Entering the Highway. The Fayette County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by Northeast Iowa Ambulance and the Wadena First Responders and the Wadena Fire Department.
