Absentee Ballots Available for School Election Posted 13 August 2008 Election day for the school elections is Tuesday, Sept. 9. The polling hours for Central Community, Clayton Ridge Community and MFL Marmac Community Schools elections are from noon to 8:00 PM. Absentee ballots are presently available for this election by a signed request form to the Clayton County Auditor's Office; PO Box 416; Elkader, IA 52043. Absentee ballots can also be cast in person at the County Auditor's Office. For further information regarding voter registration or absentee ballots call 245-1106.
