Braley to Hold Meetings Monday Posted 8 August 2008 First District Rep. Bruce Braley, D-Waterloo, will hold “Congress on Your Corner” meetings in Elkader, Oelwein and Independence on Monday, Aug. 11. The meetings will be held beginning at 9 a.m. at Elkader City Hall in Elkader; 11:30 a.m. at Oelwein Public Library in Oelwein; and 2 p.m. at the Independence Senior Center in Independence.   The meetings are open to the public and everyone is invited to attend and speak with Representative Braley on a variety of issues.
