Shin Bone Valley Rendezvous this Weekend Posted 31 July 2008 The Shin Bone Valley Rendezvous will be held this weekend Friday, Aug. 1, through Sunday, Aug. 3, at the Gilbertson Conservation Education Area Campground. This rendezvous is being held at the Gilbertson Conservation Education Area Campground located about ½ mile east of Elgin, just off Agate Road or County Road B64. The Shin Bone Valley Rendezvous is a great small family rendezvous; there is wood, water, flush toilets, sinks, and showers available. The rendezvous is located next to the Turkey River where one can canoe, tube, and swim at your own risk. There are even places nearby to rent canoes and tubes. If you are a buckskinner or enjoy participating in rendezvous come and check out the Shin Bone Valley Rendezvous. For the public, there will be traders with many different goods to purchase both Saturday and Sunday.
