Body Found in Mississippi Identified Posted 31 July 2008 Authorities have identified the body that was found earlier this week in the Mississippi River near Guttenberg as that of Joseph Heaton, 47 of Mineral Point, Wis. A recreational boater discovered Heaton's body south of Guttenberg in the river near Camp Hideaway Monday afternoon, July 28. Clayton County Sheriff's Department identified the body with the help of the Iowa State Medical Examiner's Office. The Iowa Department of Criminal Investigations is working with the Sheriff's Department to continue the investigation.
